Rory Baker is a professional photographer and the founder of My Photo Safari in 2016. He has been a wildlife enthusiast and passionate about photography since high school. Rory has presented many talks, courses, and workshops on photography including wildlife, birding, and landscape photography helping many photographers improve their skills.
Rory is a family man, married to Ina for forty-something years and they have four children. As a commercial photographer, he has been published several times and has won or been placed in various photo competitions locally and abroad.

Casey is a travel and conservation photographer. As a wife and mother of two, her personal life fuels her desire to document and preserve the wonders of our planet. Through her lens, she acts as an observer of life, aiming to challenge perceptions, promote kindness, and foster a love for the environment. Her photography catalyzes reconnecting people with nature and inspiring positive change. With an unwavering commitment to her craft, she believes in the power of photography to evoke emotions and stimulate meaningful dialogue.

Albie studied nature conservation in Cape Town and has been involved in the wildlife and tourism industry since 1997. He holds both FGASA level 3 (SKS) and Kenya Bronze level guiding qualifications. He has a keen interest in wildlife photography and has published numerous articles in both printed and digital media. As a photographer, he is keenly aware of the effort required to create a great image, and with this in mind can anticipate the best positions for his guests for photography.

For a considerable amount of time, Linda has been exploring water photography, beginning in rivers and streams and then on to the oceans. Linda lives by the ocean and enjoys spending hours at sea taking pictures of pelagic animals and reefs in nearby tropical locations as well as the rhythmic art of wave photography. Her passion, or special interest, is showcasing the beauty of the ocean and all its life through her pictures. She also contributes her skills to taking pictures of rehabilitated sea animals being released, and she raises money for research students among other projects. Linda's images have been widely published; in addition to winning the South African Photographer of the Year 2024 award, she has published a children's book that features her photographs. Linda will generously offer her expertise of physical and photographic skills in the water, on the deck, and post-processing as an accomplished underwater photographer.

I am a passionate ocean advocate who aims to continuously connect people to the sea. Although I’ve had my fair share of travel, Durban has always been home and I consider Aliwal Shoal my playground. I've been scuba diving since 2009 as a PADI Advanced diver and have recently extended my underwater experience to Freediving and am certified under the Molchanovs education system. My goal is to ensure that my clients feel safe and comfortable enough to have a memorable experience in the open ocean.

Geoff has over 40 years’ experience as an accountant having worked in various industries in his career. His drive is to ensure that all accounting is handled with utmost integrity and provides management with the information they need to control and grow the business. He is also a keen hobbyist photographer and as such proud to be a part of this exciting business.
