DAILY ITINERARY

The itinerary below may change a little if there are circumstances out of our control like weather, road closures, or others.
Day 1
Depart the Durban area or King Shaka Airport to arrive at St. Lucia around midday. After checking in and settling down we meet at a restaurant for a light lunch and discuss the next few day's activities. After lunch, we depart on an exclusive photo tour in the Eastern Shores with sundowners along the way. On our return, we freshen up and enjoy a dinner at one of the many restaurants in St. Lucia.
Day 2
The day starts with early coffee before we set off on a sunrise boat cruise along the St. Lucia estuary. Capture stunning shots of hippos, crocodiles, and a diverse array of birds, it is a real birders' and photographers' delight. The cruise comes complete with a light Continental breakfast. Back on the shore, we'll take a moment to freshen up and relax before indulging in lunch at a local village restaurant. In the afternoon, we return to the estuary for another round of sunset boat cruise photography. After our nautical endeavors, dinner awaits at a village restaurant, concluding the day with a restful night's sleep.
Day 3
In a similar style to Day 2, our day starts early with a sunrise boat cruise photo session on the St. Lucia estuary with another opportunity to photograph hippos, crocodiles, and a diverse range of birds. The cruise will include a light Continental breakfast. On return to the shore, we will freshen up and prepare to depart to Makongo Hills Private Game Lodge. After settling in we will have a light lunch and discussion of what to expect in the days while we are there. About mid-afternoon, we will have our first afternoon/sunset game drive in our exclusive vehicle stopping along the way for some bush refreshments. On return to the lodge, we will have dinner followed by a good night's rest.
Day 4-8
Each day we will depart for the morning session at a time determined the previous night. If you would like to have coffee and rusks before we depart for the morning session you may need to wake up a little earlier. The morning and afternoon photography sessions may involve open vehicle game drives or a photographic bush walk guided by a professional wildlife expert. The morning sessions will include a coffee and rusks stop along the way followed by breakfast on return. The afternoon sessions will include some bush refreshments at sunset followed by dinner on return to the lodge. Between breakfast and lunch, we will meet in a designated area where we can download our images and have a photographic discussion about our photos. Alternatively, you can take the opportunity to have a rest.'
Day 9
We start with an early morning game drive session followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, we will pack up and prepare to depart from Makongo Hills back to King Shaka International Airport where we wish each of our guests safe onward journeys.
