WEEKEND SCAPES WORKSHOP
South Coast KZN
There are lots of options for photography on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast. We will be selecting a few landscape and seascape locations from Southbroom to Port Edward during this Scapes Weekend.
A good way to level-up your seascape and landscape photography skills!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Lodging is not included in the package, participants are free to stay wherever they choose. A few recommendations for lodging are provided below around the Southbroom area..
Weekend Program
Friday
2:00 pm: Meet and greet at a predetermined coffee shop for coffee to talk about the weekend's schedule and what to expect.
3:30 pm: We depart for the venue to get ready for the sunset photo shoot, which involves taking pictures from golden hour to blue hour. After we're through, we all return to our accommodations for a good night's sleep.

Saturday
+/- 4:30 am: Meet at a predetermined location to prepare for a sunrise photography session. Once the sun has risen, we will continue to photograph scenic and creative shots along the beach.
+/- 8:30 am: We will have coffee at a nearby coffee shop and discuss the morning's activities.
12:00 pm: We will meet at a place in Southbroom where we will have a presentation about sea and landscape photography (see details below). A finger lunch will also be provided.
3:30 pm: We will head off to another location for the afternoon sunset session. When we're done, we all head back to where we stay for a good night's rest.

10:30 a.m.: We'll get together at a spot in Southbroom to talk about related to photography, as well as post-processing workflow and editing techniques and tips. Coffee and rusks will be provided.
